Intro new to TGT

Good morning everybody! Discovered TGT recently. Relatively new to Texas. Would like to make new connections to enjoy Texas outdoors. Happy to be back in the land of common sense! Not from California but moved from the next worst place....Illinois. Not a liberal or democrat. I eat meat. Retired Air Force and LE.

Avid shooter. Enjoy deer hunting- archery mostly but not averse to hunting with firearms. I really enjoy duck and upland game hunting.

Hey - we're having a very casual informal meet-up lunch in Livingston on Saturday Nov 18th, and even though you're new you'd be welcome to join in. Details here:

TGT meet-up - Saturday Nov 18th - Livingston TX. Any interest?

As it is over a four hour drive each way I probably won't make it. I've got about ten hours of driving each way the prior week for State Guard drill. Understandable, my friend. You keep drivin safe and keep gettin your military mind back to TX asap. :)
