There should be a simple test before one can vote. People voting just because of a person's looks or what the news tells them is very dangerous as we have seen.

People complain about the liberal or socialist politicians, or how bad or corrupt they are. The bigger problem are the people who keep voting them into office, or keeping them in office.

People deserve the politicians they elect in many cases. But I also put a lot of the blame on the media for advancing the agenda of these politicians. The voters many times are not getting the truth or the facts about the politicians, or the issues.
