This morning I checked to see what kind of offers this Glock had received.
No bids and the auction closes Wednesday.
I know how the guy must feel. I have a few Springfields for sale on this site and have gotten no interest either. Mine are shiny new and not all chopped up.

I'll buck the consensus thinking here and admit that I like it. Would I buy it? NO. I can appreciate it for what it is though. With that said, I own 1 Glock. And 1 Glock is enough Glock for anyone. YMMV.

Nah. 26 is a great pocket gun. And unlike my now departed 1911, my 21 has never spit the bit.

I am not a big fan of the Glock pistol. That being said, I own six currently.
I know you say, how can a 1911 guy end up with six Glocks? I keep asking myself that every time I look in my gun cabinet. They must multiply at night. A box stock FDE G19 rides with me everyday in my console.
My 1911s on the other hand shine at the range. Variety is the spice of life, they say.
I still say the Glock posted here is the ugliest firearm I have ever seen.

So, you are saying that you'd rather trust your life to a Glock instead of a 1911?

Yes, for three reasons:
1. The G19 is smaller.
2. It doesn't get scratched riding in the console.
2. It also has a larger capacity.

The Glock is no where near as accurate and smooth as my 1911s.
Most of my 1911s cost a lot more than my Glocks. I had rather beat up a $500 pistol than one costing a grand or more.
But that is just me.
