    Trust = $500
    Tax Stamp = $200 SBR + $200 Suppressor
    Engraving SBR = $75
    AAC 762-SD Mod 08 = $800
    AAC Mount = $75

I could be off $150 give or take. You don't need to be spooky or a pro to have fun.

Wow, I had no idea it was that much. Never really looked into it, good to know. So 700-800 just in tax&fees plus the cost of whatever parts you buy?

I did my trust myself and got my Form 1 back with no problems and got my AR lower engraved at Ident Marking Services in Rockwall for about $45. So total cost has been about $245 including the $200 tax stamp. I'll tell you how fun the suppressor is if I can ever save up enough money to get the Knight's QDSS-NT4 :(

if you just chop the bbl yourself no engraving is necessary

Thank you for visiting ATF's Website. As stated on our site, generally,
we do not answer technical questions via e-mail, but I contacted our
Firearms Technology Branch (FTB) and was advised the following:

"If you manufacture the firearm yourself (cut off the barrel), no
additional markings other than the original markings are required. If a
Class III manufacturer cuts the barrel, the weapon must be marked by the
license holder. The serial number would remain the same in both
    instances."

If you have any further questions, please call them on 304-260-1700.
    Regards,

regarding any additional makings or engravings required. of course i

    Out here by the lake!
Asking guys that own the shit if it's worth it? I'm confused. At work today a guy is admiring my pocket knife & asks what it cost. Then he seems surprised by it. Like I told him, I can shoot more ammo in a couple of hours then most will in a year. I thought he with the most toys win!

if you do commit, you wont stop, and its a terrible addiction, because you think your just gonna do the one...then you get it, and it is sooooo cool you start to think, well this other looks pretty good tooo, and its just one more...then I will be complete, but while that second stamp is clearing....your already thinking about another and then another....it really is a cliff with no bottom!!

I've been seeing the 762SD's going for a bit more, and the new 51tooth mount is retailing for closer to $150 now.

Honestly, the hardest part is waiting for the paperwork to clear.

Is it worth it? I think so. It is like eating a lays poato chip . . . you don't stop at just one.

    Now, the 762SD is $875.00

    the 762SD N-6 is 1050.

51 tooth mounts are $100 for the F/H and $150 for the brake.

    Trust is $450.00 from me.

Is it worth it to have the ultimate suppressed pimpstick? Hell yes it is!

I know why they call you all DEALERS now...Sean, you got my trust fixed up for me, Bill sold me a Thunderbeast, and now I am debating if I want my next purchase to be a 300BLK SBR, a pistol can, or both!
