i would like to get into an sbr set up and or possibly a supressor.. but seeing im no spec ops dude or hit man, is it worth it? how much cash (ballpark) is usually involved in getting all the required stuff?

I did my trust myself and got my Form 1 back with no problems and got my AR lower engraved at Ident Marking Services in Rockwall for about $45. So total cost has been about $245 including the $200 tax stamp. I'll tell you how fun the suppressor is if I can ever save up enough money to get the Knight's QDSS-NT4

"If you manufacture the firearm yourself (cut off the barrel), no
additional markings other than the original markings are required. If a
Class III manufacturer cuts the barrel, the weapon must be marked by the
license holder. The serial number would remain the same in both
instances."

I've been seeing the 762SD's going for a bit more, and the new 51tooth mount is retailing for closer to $150 now.

Honestly, the hardest part is waiting for the paperwork to clear.
