Merely for purposes of discussion, and particularly for those who advocate not allowing OC is a restriction of the 2A, where does it say in the 2A that private property owners can restrict the right to bear arms on their property?

Okay, where does it say in the 2nd Amendment they can't"

Given APatriot's next comment, I have to wonder if he missed that civics class he noted above.

Actually the Bill of Rights does not address the government, but rather addresses those individual rights which can't be squandered by a centralized tyranny. That is Civics 101 which based on your comment you were absent during class.

Obviously if you knew the scope of the 2nd Amendment, then you have answered your own question about property owners being about to restrict guns on their on their own property, only you didn't seem to realize it.

I posed the question for discussion. I know the answer. :) Please, are you another one I have "to school"?

I'll argue that for ANY reason a person can limit entrance to his private property and really dosen't need to explain why. Race religion etc have no bearing. Would a Black Panther be able to deny access to his house if a KKK person showed up in white sheets? Or anyone. And the other way, a KKK meeting on private property should be able to deny access to Black Panthers. Or Jews or what ever. The land owners rights trump special interests.

Go back to school you raving idiot, the Bill of rights limits the Federal Government, that is its point and purpose. the 14th amendment extends that protection from the government down to the state level.

    :banghead:

The BOR addresses the rights of individuals, specifically delineating those rights which the central government can't take away. Did you even go to school or did the Army take you on GED? I don't want to sound mean, but the Army does have the reputation of basically signing up anyone. :)

That's why I said certain circumstances. I believe the difference is if the private property is normally open to the general public, like a retail outlet.

You sure? I'm pretty sure any private owner of property can limit entrance by any means of discrimination they see fit, with the exception of protected classes in certain circumstances.

We need to take our property rights back, too. This "except protected classes" thing is bullshit.

    OOoooooo, someone got pwned there.
