The Academy in Selma had Winchester Western bulk packs of 525 for $21.99 today. More bulk packs than customers standing in line.

    No CCI SV -- sigh!

It’s a TARGET SERIES 22LR. Even though we have used this in American Rimfire Association 22LR MATCH Competition there are 2 major differences between our formula and what we believe to be true MATCH SERIES 22LR. First our .22LR is supersonic, match is best subsonic to prevent the shockwave from disrupting the projectile’s flight path. ELEY MATCH, the benchmark of excellence in our humble opinion, makes a 1058 fps 40gr in lead with a wax lubricant on machine number four that I personally believe is the most accurate consistent round ever manufactured in any caliber by anyone. As good as it is it will not cycle most automatics, nor was it designed to. It was designed to be and is the most accurate single action round ever produced. We wanted a more versatile round so we increased the energy to 120ftlbs so it would cycle automatic pistol’s and rifle’s. Since we made the round to cycle firearms that are more likely to be used by families we decided to make a more kid friendly projectile in copper. The price is higher than a bulk pack of 525 or 550 plinker bricks because the quality is much higher in every aspect from consistency to accuracy. They are packaged in boxes of 50, bricks of 500 (not 525 or 550 because we wont have a single misfire let alone 20 to 45) and cases of 5,000. Similar TARGET quality 22LR is priced at $1250 (.25 per round) and $1550 (.31 per round) per case of 5,000. We are doing our best to get 22LR to the marketplace but it has not been easy. We have literally contacted and/or visited all major manufactures of 22LR around the US and abroad to attempt to get an affordable standard production 22LR to the marketplace. This is culmination of a yearlong effort to get a quality round to the public in bulk. This is not a cheap round marked up, this is a high quality round lowered to the lowest possible price to offer a versatile 22LR to people that simply cannot get any. We do not gouge and although some of our ammunition is sold beyond our control BluCore is a quality organization and they are not gouging. An online retailer that must frustratingly remain unnamed offered our .22LR ammunition for more than 40 cents per round in boxes of 50, worse yet they sold out in hours and attempted to place an order with us directly which we refused.

We are working hard to produce 22LR in volume for the US market, we are starting with the higher TARGET SERIES but will offer a more affordable high quality PLINKER SERIES within the coming months.

I hope this helps explain our round and shed’s light on our company and philosophy.

Saw this at cabelas in Rogers AR Monday about noonish. Didn't buy any at that price as I'm stocked up enough and looking to buy only at around $0.05/rd. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1397695241.820313.jpg

I have been able to get a brick of Blazer at Cabela's almost every time I go( when they open at 9:00am) went to the range today and shot about 700 rounds and gave a couple of boxes to a guy who hadn't been able to find any. FYI, the 40 grain Blazer shoots just as good as the CCI MiniMag, maybe a little better.
