Just wanting to talk/question about jeans.
I'm a tall n skinny dude, about 6ft 2in, maybe 32" inseam... been a while. I don't think I've ever had a pair of jeans that actually fit me properly. I'm looking to find better fitting jeans, both for comfort and future CC, when I get my CHL. (still just a dream for my lazy butt) My main problems with my jeans are #1 I can't really fit my hands in my pockets. Took me almost a minute to get my tube of carmex out. This pretty much eliminates pocket carry. #2 the jeans are either riding high or riding low. Both are uncomfortable, neither look good, one is bad for IWB carry.
Since I'm on the subject of jeans, how do people make them last so long? I've got a coworker that looks like his jeans are still brand new, while I bought some new ones for work, they look fairly worn, despite using low heat in the dryer. (Just want to say, so no one mentions it, I'm not going to ask them)
I'm thinking one of these days I will go check out some levis jeans... I just hate that the tag on the right rear says the size. (they're cheap $$)
My jeans
29x30 Urban 2011 maybe x1
29x32 Arizona 2016-2017~ x2
Both of these fit about the same, waist wise. The Urban seems to "ride" better, but not as good as it could be? Then the pockets are small. I also feel like, for how many miles I've put on my Urban, they're in pretty good shape. I had to of been a young teen, the last time my hands fit easily in my pockets. (Urban jeans, I'm 21 now) I've noticed recently, that either my jeans have shrunk to a noticeable amount or I've grown.
When I was shopping for some Arizona jeans, I tried a good few different sizes and fits in similar sizes and landed on that size and a bootcut fit. I think my Urbans are a relaxed straight, but I didn't like that from Arizona...
Does anyone think they could help me figure out what to look for, in jeans? Specific brand or fits? With future CC in mind?
Thanks,
