8/20: Received envelope with notice requesting a do-over for the fingerprints...KRAP!
Yep, when those fingerPrints kick out in the pipe-line, it looks as if there is no such thing as regaining that place in-line. The new prints find the mating packet waiting in the dead-active stack and placed at the bottom of the active stack and begin the flow again.
I have an appt for fingerprints at L-1...anybody have experience with them? I am going to the facility at 9100 Southwest Fwy, on the SW side of Houston.
If you are using your veteran status to get the discount, be sure to send in a copy of your DD214 with your application. They don't tell you that up front. I just sent it to them 2 weeks ago and now who knows how much I'm delayed or if I even go to the back of the line. I sent my packet in in mid-June.
