So I go in to GM in Mesquite today to see if I could trade a PMR 30 LNIB for a Ruger MKIII. To my amazement, they said that they could give me $185 in trade in value toward the Ruger. I was speechless! The salesman was very nice and pleasant and felt kinda bad for the offer. I told him I would drag it behind my car all the way back to Forney before I would even consider the offer. WTF? I only shot 50rds through it. Is it that big of a POS? Just thought I would share that hellish experience.

Did you come through the door bent over walking backwards asking for a pounding?

Those guys are nuts. Don't think I'd go back.

$500 Should have been a fair offer for a retail store.

Well Salty, you're right, they are less. I just checked Gunbroker and they have dropped in price considerably.

They seem to be anywhere from $500 up on the buy now.

The one I had is at $619.

Dealer cost on the PMR is only about $300. When they first came out I bought one for $300 from my LGS. So with that being said not too many shops are going to pay you more for a used one then what they can get a new one for. Yes I know they are rare and people pay a premium for them but it is what it is. Sell it privately you will come out $$$ ahead.

This. I paid $450 for mine and it came with 4 mags in 2011. You would be much better off doing a private sale than a dealer.

I think I would have held out and done a trade for a MKII with an individual. But that's just me. You got what you wanted, so cool!

I forgot to mention they also included a Volquartsen trigger kit and bushing for removing the magazine disconnect. Going to install that later today.
