I handled it at Shot Show today.

It is an interesting weapon.

It is not a 3 gun match shotgun or a sporting clays gun. It is a defensive shotgun.

You have to manually switch from one mag tube to the other.

If you just used up 14 rounds of 12 gauge and you need to "reload quickly".. . you need to move the hell away from detroit.

Really though, I'd buy one of these. It's not as ugly as the mossberg bullpups even with an extra tube crammed in there.

Trigger reset problem

Interesting. I don't think I'm in the habit of holding down the trigger while I pump another round in... Of course I've never had to use a shotgun in a self defense or combat role, so who knows.

There were very few shotguns that i have ever held the trigger down on and ran the pump, but those would slam fire when you did that. But every other shotgun ived used or owned i release the trigger before i run the pump.

This is moving up on my want list a little more each day. I think I'd sleep a little sounder with one under my bed loaded with #4 buck. Especially since the place directly across the street was cleaned out by thieves a couple weeks ago.

It is a selector.

Look at the picture and the youtube video. You can see the shooter flipping the selector when he runs out of ammo in one tube.

Although, that would allow one to switch between one tube loaded with slugs & one tube loaded
with 00.......or any other combo....afterall, if 7 rounds of 00 didn't do the trick, you might want slugs, lol.....

Also easier and faster than select slug drills.

Flip switch. Rack to eject buckshot and chamber slug. Slug ready!

It looks cool and I give them props for innovation, but that trigger reset problem is a dangerous deal breaker on a self-defense gun. Maybe it was just an oversight or a glitch in a prototype rushed out the door for SHOT. I hope so but I still love my Saiga12.
