I think most of us know that on TGT most threads that go over a certain number of posts get 'jacked to some extent. The longstanding moderation standards and the conversational tone of the place those standards create make TGT the best gun talk board I know.

Years ago, 1996 I believe, I was working for Bank of America in Pensacola, FL. I had accepted a promotion and was moving to Bowling Green, KY. One day after work we(the wife and 3 little ones) took off up 65 to Bowling Green to do some house hunting. A few hours later my oldest who was 6 years old at the time was complaining about wanting to stop and sleep. I told her just a little while longer, we were going to stop and spend the night in Birmingham. Her eyes grew large and a general look of amazement overtook her face and when I asked what was wrong, she exclaimed "we, are going to stay, where Jesus was born??" We still laugh about it to this day.

That's really typical of any conversation. Could you imagine talking about the same thing and only the same thing in a conversation? It's pretty rare.

I agree TGT is the best. I'd buy it a beer if I could.
