A guy found my gun bag on the highway (fully intact, clips, ammo, holster, ect), kept it for a week or so trying to find the owner directly (me), then found this post on 1911forum, sent me a PM explaining the whole thing and then turned it into the Police. The Officer in turn called me up today and drove by the house and delivered it back to me in person.

So it was stolen and then lost or did it fall off your car/truck?
