You guys crack me up with your conspiracy theories. Nobody stalked him on the internet and then bothered to steal only one firearm out of his vehicle. The truth lies in the details. The f350 was broken into and the Jeep wasn't. There are two types of Ford trucks in San Antonio, those that have been broken into and those that will.
Yea, It cracks me up too, since a long production run of Ford Heavy Duty's had door locks that could be defeated without any sign of forcible entry. Had I known that as the owner of the truck, I would have put the gun somewhere else for safe-keeping.

Just saying, it is better to hide your stash where some internet or street-wise thief will not find it, and not to advertise your business on an open forum.

By definition, as citizens, we are all victims of multiple conspiracies that deprive us of liberty and personal safety.

There are no more egregious conspirators than in those who cloak themselves as legislators in public service.

    Be well.

    DCav,

So very sorry to hear of this. As with others will add this to my watch list and hope for the best.

While I do not support any conspiracy theory, I do think it is important to maintain situational awareness at all times, especially where firearms are involved. This includes being aware of who is around when you leave the range and if you notice any unusual activity around.

It never hurts to make mental notes of the vehicle parked next to you, the description of people loitering around, etc.

Crooks apply their craft the same as any other group, and they learn from each other and unfortunately from TV and movies that try to be as realistic as they can. Many crooks are not stupid - lazy, cowardly, evil, - but not stupid.

If you set up a meet on a message board like this, only do details by PM, Email and Telephone. Everyone that needs to know knows and the BG's don't.

Do they have a 30.06 posted?

If they don't, why was it in the truck in the first place?
They are gun friendly, of the 8 pistols they had with them two were carried by the 2 of 4 CHL holders in the family. Luckily the turd only got into the front of the truck.

I am the owner of an 03 F250. These trucks get broken into A LOT. If it was entry thru your keyhole, go buy jimmijammers, and/or if you have power locks, go buy a set of the rear Crew Cab door handles (because they have no key hole) and put them in your front doors.
