I was at a show in Mesquite a couple of weeks ago and one guy had a KE-branded KP-15 _and_ an OEM for someone that KE does. The lower was priced at $109! And that's when you are happy to find Andersen for $65, but this also includes pistol grip and stock. The KP-15 actually saves money, believe it or not.
My daughter built one. The lower comes from Range USA nee Shoot Point Blank of all places, and it was under $110. The rifle is crazy lightweight, I understand the appeal now. I'm thinking of getting her some micro-prism for Christmas, as currently she bummed a Vortex off me, and that thing is heavy enough to ruin everything.
