Who knows what really went on, but it appears to be yet another LAPD total screwup on the surface. Several cop buddies I have agree. It takes a lot of assumption of guilt or proof that your suspect is turning on you to fire on a vehicle like that.

Those cops need to go to jail for that BS as well as the other truck that got rammed. This situation is an awesome example of why civilians ought to be able to have big bad assault rifles and 30rd mags. The cops are getting more and more incompetent by the year it seems.

How is buying them off with a truck "the right thing"? One of these women got two bullets in her back.

The right thing is for every cop there who pulled the trigger to be arrested and put on trial for every felony they committed that day. The right thing would be for LAPD to finally fix the huge problems in that department. But no, I doubt those officers who fired dozens of rounds negligently and recklessly will get anything more than a little slap on the wrist to go into their personnel files.
