I think we can say yes it is a turret and it turns the turret automaticly every time you move the handle up and down it will turn the turret to the next die, usually they call them Autu Index Turret Pressp one step below progressive press. Very easy I can load 200 round an hour 9mm and 40 S&W.

Also one great future about it, it is very simple to Chang between calibers.

    What plates does it have?

On that press (IIRC) you just use one standard shell holder and run one case at a time. The top turns and rotates the dies and loads that one case at a time. Think of it like an auto rotating turret press. It doesn't use plates like a progressive press.

Thanks Dawico for the help, you seems very familer with the press they are good and very easy to use.

I am a Lee fan and owned a four head turret w/o the auto index feature. It is a good press and was super simple to change calibers. I am surprised that you haven't sold it yet.
