    This man made music what it was and what it is today.
    For those of us musically inclined I would compare this with the death of Elmer Keith in size and magnitude.
    The world is a less bright place today!!!

    I agree.............sad day! The older Les Paul Customs.......Gold Top etc were and still are the best guitar out there if you don't mind the weight and the full humbucker sound.

    He was a great musician and a true innovator. "Dedicated" is an understatement -- he had the doctor set his right arm into position to play when he very badly injured it in a car wreck. He left a very positive mark on this world.
