The principal's principles are true and good. As a public school teacher scarfing down my lunch in 23 minutes on a Friday while I'd rather be home, I can say that this situation is a reality all over the place.

Wow 23 minutes? I usually play German Shepherd with my lunch, done in 5.

Thanks for being a teacher, BTW. One of the most honorable job fields to choose in my opinion. Wouldn't be where I am without far above and beyond assistance from a handful of great educators. Might not think you make a difference to kids all the time, or that kids are even listening, but sometimes there's one whose life you may change without even realizing it. I was one of those kids.
