Made up a Mexican marinade for these thighs. I’m just about to 165 degrees & the smell wonderful. My screened in back porch totally rocks. Sitting in the rocker I bought for the wife, ceiling fans running & a cold drink. Kind of wish I didn’t hear the pile driver putting in a bulkhead in the distance.

For me to fire up the smoker I need enough to justify it. I’ll be eating chicken for a while, which I don’t mind if it’s good. Being a widower I don’t have anyone to please but me & the dawg. He liked the piece I gave him, and was looking for more.
In the future, have some for him without the sauce.

    Onion isn't good for dogs.

    ETA: Sure looks good though....
