Hope we got some fishermen here that will take a look at this new product from a Texan.

I am not associated with this company, never met the guy, however he is a friend of a friend I trust and this is how I found out about him and his invention. My buddy thinks he is a great guy, hunter, outdoors-man, boater and described his family as; "I think his daughters will learn to drive boats before they learn to drive cars or "date"." So he can't be all bad, right?

In a nutshell the product costs about $15, and is a ring that you wear when fishing to cut lines with. I guess you could also use it to suplement your dive knife for SCUBA if you dive in a spot that has entanglement issues from small lines.

I guess it's a nice try, but I'd rather reach for my clippers a few times during a fishing trip than have that humongous thing on my finger for hours.

The scuba idea is a real stretch too (not sure if that was the OP's idea, or the inventor's). The last thing I want on my hand while diving is something that can snag/catch on my BC straps and other gear.
