That sucks. Used to go there quite often when I lived out to Mineola. Were some decent folks there.

the gun business has been on a major roller coaster ever since the obamination got into office.
I remember the panic buying when he first got elected, it started right after the election in November of 08
then we had Sandy Hook at the end of 2012 that resulted in the Senate Bill for background checks that eventually went down in flames.
these cycles are hard for small shops to survive. Last year ARs were high and now they are $499
There was a new store that opened up the street from me, I hope they can survive.

It's a shame to see a small gun shop hit the dust.

In my parts, the big gun shops survive because they have a huge customer base in a metropolitan area of over 1.5 + million people.

Gun shows no longer offer "wholesale prices." The LGS are happy to sell everything they have at MSRP, including used guns.

Why wait for a gun show if you can buy it now, no matter what the price, since you cant get it any cheaper at the gun show anymore.

Sad to hear. I've only bought one panic buy where I paid more than it was worth but I'm not complaining.
