    LDS churches (Mormons) run local food banks called Bishop's Storehouses or Home Storage Centers where you can buy bulk food items. They are actually quite a well known resource in the prepper community...Mormon and non-Mormon a like. Home Storage Center Locations Map. I don't know about Lentils in particular but most of your basic food storage needs can be found there.

    Yes indeed, many times. I was just remarking to the wife the other day that it has been some time though...maybe a year since we have been there.
