so apparently eric over on glocktalk felt that i violated the whatever blah blah blah.

some guy was selling a glock for $1100, i replied with "wow, 1100, thats it?"

and somehow that resulted in a ban. lol.

    Texas of course
Hahaha. Yeah it's funny the BS they let slide on that forum. ;)

That's the reason I don't even participate on that forum...too much BS (everytime I look through the forums I think of Gecko45). I just look through the classifieds from time to time though.

It may just depend on the forum. I've never been on Glocktalk.

On my HK forum, you are not allowed to comment on ads. That includes any comment, good or bad. So, no "that's it?" or "drooool" or "wish I had the cash" comments. You can only respond if you have a question pertaining to the sale or purchase or something along those lines.

It sounds like they didn't like what put.

That's pretty typical while some don't mind passive comments from time to time they try to curb them. But as a lot of forums call it, "crapping" in a for sale ad is generally not allowed in most, if not any classified forum I've ever seen.

So ya, a sarcastic, "wow, 1100, thats it?" would fall under the "no crapping" rule.

Yep.....HKpro. That's how I found out about this great forum.

I will say it is inconsistantly policed.....but to cut & paste:

"Let's please knock off the comments on sale ads. This includes salivating "If I only had the money, drooooooooool" replies etc.

And any replies that denigrate the seller or his prices.

    The market sets the price.

    Violators will be suspended.

    TIA."
