Anyone have any recommendations on a good coach gun? I have been looking for a shotgun that is not too long and has a good balance. I had found a few that I really liked (pump models) but they require the stamp for SBS as the barrel is only 14". I don't necessarily need a pump, a double barrel will fit the bill just fine, so I am looking at coach guns. 12 or 20 guage is fine, but I'm leaning more towards the 12. Do any of y'all have any experience with these? If so, could ya help a brother out here? Thanks in advance.

Well I just sold a Rossi coach gun with 21 in barrels a few weeks ago
but I have read somewhere that Stoeger or Steyr make a decent
    coach gun.

Bought mine a few months ago, $290.00, at the Fort Worth Gun Show, it's a Norinco import.....shoots great, and a solid gun for home defense of just for fun!:D

A buddy of mine has a stoeger 12 gauge. It's a nice gun. I wouldn't mind having one laying around the house.
