Looking for a hard case for my xframe. Won’t fit in the factory case with the scope. Needs to be 17” x 10” to fit comfortably. Everything I’m seeing on Amazon is either too small or rifle cases. Any ideas?

You might need a clamshell case for those telescoping fishing rods. Ive seen some cases for scoped revolvers but don't remember the make but I am sure that theres some Pelican and Flambeau cases that should meet those measurement requirements.

I began using Pelican cases for my scuba gear and later for my test equipment at GE. They have survived numerous trips to Japan and Taiwan on the airlines. They aren't cheap but they do an excellent job of protecting their contents.

Years ago, I bought a piece of convoluted foam for a single bed from Walmart. Since then, I’ve purchased numerous 2 to 5 dollar briefcases from thrift shops. I still have some of that foam.
