WTB Looking for a single stage reloading press in Houston and surrounding area

Not sure I can't spend a ton right now, but would like to be able to decap my brass. Depends on the cost I suppose.

Thinking about it but I've read they need tinkering all the time to keep going, and RCBS don't supposedly.

Their progressives yes. A single stage is very simple and doesn't need any tinkering.

Lee single stage presses are good to go. Just get a solid O frame design.

I've beat the crap out of my single stage Lee over the years and it still works fine. I'd say take the Lee. Cheap and it works.

Pretty good deal there. RCBS is very good.

I am not really familiar with the different Lee singles. They are all pretty good.

A vote for the RCBS Rock Chucker, here. Been using one for decades! Check into Midway USA. Catch their sales and you won't find one much lower.

Well I just got a hell of a deal. Went to academy to price match a rock chucker supreme I was BSing with the manager and found out it was marked wrong on the shelf, and I told him that was fine I'll take it($3 less than amazon) and he randomly marked it down to $115. It was 135-6 in store.

Being said I'm more than happy.

Can NOT go wrong with RCBS stuff. I had a bullet puller (plastic hammer thingy) break at the threads where it holds the cartridge. I called them that afternoon and they said they would send one right out. I got them two days later! They sent two! NO CHARGE!

Any part that breaks, no matter where you got it or how long you've had it, they will replace for free!

Two of everything. They replaced all parts except the handle. Basically, the threaded caps and cartridge holders.
