When the Brits learned of this during the late 1930’s, they sent out a call to the Western World, to send any and all small arms with which British subjects could defend their homes.

The Brits had already confiscated and destroyed most civilian arms, earlier.

Dad, who was “over there” shortly afterwards, told that the world responded by sending millions of small arms; everything from hunting rifles to shotguns to .22 rifles and pistols.

In their great wisdom the Brits then used US provided Caterpillar bulldozers to dig large trenches and BURY all those donated weapons ! While the NAZIS still threatened !

Their stupidity has no limits.

Now they have allowed, even invited, invasion via limitless “immigration”, and their cities are ruled by Muslims.

“Democracy”, and especially their combined monarchy/gentry/commoners system can produce a “CONSENSUS”. which all too frequently just makes things worse.

It's never been about the dangers of firearms. It's always been about control. Get people to believe that something tragic is going to happen and only new government supervision can make it stop. Some people might call it a move towards slavery, but in truth most slaves of 200 years ago had less interference in their lives.

SD Gov. Noem pointed out in last week's NRA meeting that the government used the Covid "crisis" as an excuse to close churches (and funerals and weddings) and people happily gave up their right to freedom of religion. They banned group meetings of any kind and people gave up their right to peaceful assembly. They worked with social media to clamp down on anyone who raised questions about their mandates, effectively shutting down the right to free speech. The Fourth and Fifth Amendments have been trampled by the Patriot Act and other government nonsense. The Second Amendment has been under attack for decades now. Movies, TV, news, social media, and schools bombard the youth of this country with tales of how dangerous firearms are to society. Private ownership of firearms is not compatible with socialism. (Or communism or fascism.) If the State is to have absolute control, they can't allow anyone to be in a position to resist. Meanwhile, every day is a new "crisis" - the Ozone Hole, Global Warming (now re-named Climate Change because they can't prove it's warming), Covid (and any of a thousand other diseases), racial tensions (which the government foments!), inflation, open immigration, and, of course, "domestic terrrorists" (anyone who disagrees with the official narrative) are all reasons for the government to invade your life.

In England, they're down to knives and other pointy objects.
