    so im getting a new 30-06 mauser, under advisemnt that the trigger is lousy.
    in order to get a bit ahaead of the game i figure its good to listen to others experioanc. learn fromt hir success and more importanly the mistakes - lol.
    what say you TGT?

    I am not a gun smith but I do know the Mauser 98 fairly well. The trigger is quite simple and easy to maintain or replace. Is the trigger too tight? Too lose? Wobbly, sloppy? Is this a military rifle with a replacement barrel or is it a modern production rifle. If military you can buy replacement triggers all day long inexpensively.

    hmmm. well i hvent gotten it yet, so i cant say for sure. it was in a thread a while back... ill see if i can find it.
