My hat's off to you Flash and to your journey.
I don't know what the **** kind of decongestant sprays you've used, but the current OTC ones have nothing that's inherently addictive. And if you're like me (allergic to anything with fur, anything that has leaves/buds and pretty much any type of mold), those sprays are the only thing that actually works. I'll take a clear, non-inflamed nose and being able to go five minutes without sneezing over the misery of my "allergy season" any friggin' day. If that makes me an addict then I guess I'm fucked.
Give up cigarettes and coffee at once. Yeah, right.
Umm, what country was that you wanted wiped out again?
tru datHad a friend/business associate who was seriously addicted to nasal spray for years. Doctors tried & failed to get him off of it. When the effects of the spray wear off, your airway slams shut regardless of Allergic substances so....shoot it again. I've been hooked on the stuff. It's hard to get off of.
The point is that the Human body is set up for moderation. You can do just about anything if your use is moderate. When moderation goes, you're set up for an addiction.
I'm not trying to accuse or stir up trouble, but I have an addictive personality. My motto is "Anything worth doing, is worth doing to excess!" It got me into a lot of problems.
