Monthly SAXET Show (1-2 October)

Yep folks, it's that time again! The monthly SAXET show will be at the SA Event Center (410 & Marbach) this upcoming weekend (1-2 Oct).

My sone and I will be at the usual location for breakfast (IHOP) on the usual date (Saturday) at the usual time (8:00am). Feel free to join in on the fun.

For those who have never been to this show, the trick is to park over by the Event Center and walk to IHOP (takes about 2-3 minutes if you walk slowly). That way you save a few bucks on parking and you get a good spot!

I'm a bit broke but that's nothing unusual nor does it ever stop me from buying things!

I'll be there in Lederhosen in honor of Oktoberfest.

I doubt the concession stand will have Paulaner on tap, nor do I think they will have Wiener Schnitzel or even Pommes Frites.

Gonna be runnin' a backhoe for a buddy Saturday, clearing a place for his new workshop. GOTTA go Sunday, though - I've got a 20" SS Bull Barrel upper due in tomorrow, an' gotta pick up a few goodies to build it on out.

Well, I won't be wearing my lederhosen (although I do own a pair). However, we will be going to the Beethoven Maennerchor Oktoberfest - October 7, 8, 14 & 15...

A taste of the Fatherland! Come to the Beethoven Halle & Garten to celebrate the ultimate German festival! Traditional music, food, and dancing will put you in the spirit! German foods, including Bratwurst, Reubens, Potato Pancakes, etc, will be available for purchase. And to fill your stein, we offer many German wines and beers, their American counterparts, and a variety of soft drinks. Suggested donation is $5 at the gate, $3 in advance; members, children, and active & retired military with ID are admitted free.
