If he allowed 50 cal handguns on the pistol I'd bring the .500 Mag. I haven't shot it in awhile and could use a few massive booms out of it.

Just a heads up, it is a potential washout this Sunday with the tropical storm regaining strength. Still unknown so we can play it by ear. If its just a small drizzle I will still go but if its raining cats and dogs we will have to reschedule.

I have to work after, so probably won't make the show. Unless it is pouring down rain or storming, I plan on going. A couple ladies from the dog park may show as well.
Talked to Doc today. .50 cal handguns are ok on the pistol range. Steel targets on the pistol should be ok, but he wants to see the setup first to make sure they will be safe. I can understand that. I'll bring the steel.

Aint looking like its going to happen. I will go to the gun show though. If for some reason the weather is good for a few hours in the AM or noon timeframe I will go though.

Called Doc. Said if it gets no worse than this the pistol range is fine. I'm still planning on going. Fingers crossed. We'll see how bad it gets tonight.

Looks like the Expo center is converting into a housing area temporarily, I wonder if the gun show is even going on right now since its the same set of buildings.

I don't know. Been a while since I've been therebut IIRC the best place to do that would be the same area they generally have the show. Of course they could be using the show barn for housing too. Be a lot more room.
Rain and wind pickec up quite a bit here. May have to go to Hawkeye to get some range time tomorrow. Might wait until I'm off tuesday. Sucks.
