Mossberg 100 ATR .243

I picked up one up today for my teenage son to shoot some deer with. Seems to be a good little shooter for the price. Anyone have any experience with them?

My friend has one in .30-06 and he likes it. I've fired it a few times and I was impressed for the price point. They seem to be well made.

Thats what I was thinking. A 14 year old isnt gonna appreciate a $1200 dollar rifle anymore than a $300 rifle. I thought it looked pretty good for the price. Got lots of good reviews from the gun critics.

it will kill a deer just as well as a r700 except you have a lot more money left over to buy spices to cook the deer. i have hunted with one in 30-06 for the past 3 years and havent had a complaint yet.
