I have really enjoyed pushing my pistols to slightly longer ranges, First day with my XDM I was hitting 8" plates almost every shot at 50 yrds, fell off alittle at 75 but I blame it on the wind, then sat at the 100 yrd bench and started tryng to hit pigeons(tried is the key word, lol).

Same boat as sage with my reloads. Safe functional and cheap are my goals, may work for accuracy down the road but for now just want them to go bang with no kaboom.

I have used all of the ammo in Shortround's post and agree that it's all good. I do not have a preference for any on that list.

You asked for the most accurate............
My super accurate loads used Speer 200gr Semi Wad Cutter lead bullets pushed by a charge of Bullseye. It required me to cut about a 1/4 turn off of the slide spring but was amazingly accurate and functioned perfectly. It probably would NOT make "Major" class in competition with reduced velocity so it would shoot with a handicap. It's a perfect 50 foot bulleye target load. Accurate? OH, Yeah!
