Holy shit. $32/#. I like the jap/cheddar sausage at Black's. They do a coarser grind. Haven't had it at Terry Black's. Every time I go by there's a line now. Black's near us is still at $25/#

Honesty, that’s not too bad considering 2x Spicy Deluxe CFA meals ran me $25 today. For less than $10 more getting a pound of great brisket instead is a no brainer.

Yeah I get that. It's just a kick in the nuts when you think about how much it use to be. I feel the same way about the price of crawfish. But at least with brisket you can feel better when you compare it to other meals. A pound of moist brisket is better than a lot of steaks in this town.
