My new lamp shade

The plastic shade on my lamp got so brittle from the heat of the bulb it literally fell apart. I looked at the naked bulb and thought WTH I'm gonna do? Buy another lamp ?? No way!

I've got a couple of leftover Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough tubs that could serve the same purpose---fitting my lifestyle a bit better .
And another vote for a CFL so you don't melt the new one!
