    I named my blue tick Champ because that is what his name was when I got him. It's short for "Ivan's Running Blue Champ" the name on his papers.
    I like Sako or Tikka or Finnbear.

    I pick him up later on this evening and will post a couple pics. I think I'm down to "Ruger" (my favorite manufacture) or "Rimfire" (since they are a smaller breed).

    Since my wife and I have been married we have named our dogs after fictional characters. Our Husky (miss ya buddy) was named Falcor. That was the giant Luck Dragon in The Neverending Story, and our current GSD is Dax.

    Points for anyone who can name where that is from.

    Why don't you get two dogs and name them Smith & Wesson?

    We got two little recue kittens from the Frisco pound and named one Tinker and the other Bell but maybe I shouldn't admit that on a gun forum........forget I said that!
