    Hey Guys,

Got a couple of rifles that I would like to get the barrels threaded on, and was hoping to find someone in the Houston area.

Don't want to mail them, and would like a 3 week or less turnaround time.

If you know of anyone, please post their information.

    Thanks,
    Lynx Defense

There's a place called A Gun Shop on Hwy 6 and clay, if youre on that side of time as well. There are a few around town and some in the smaller cities around Houston too.

Operators Edge off I45 northbound, just past the woodlands. They are a class 3 dealer and all the guys there are former special forces and very very nice guys. You have to ring the bell on the door and one of them will buzz you in. Their website is operatorsedge.com

Huh, last time I was by there they were closed. Rumor has it that good guy is about to doing some serious federal time.

Keith with NFA can not do the work, talked to him this morning. The barrel will not come off the receiver, so he can't use his lathe to turn it.

Checking with the guy in La Porte.

Thanks for the help, and another suggestions are appreciated.

edited to add: I think the gunsmith from Operators Edge is now working across the highway at Woodlands Tactical.

Try Derek at Sportsmans guns and ammo in Conroe, he is on Porter highway just south of highway 105. He did my Les Baer Ultimate ar for me. Excellent job. He is very busy, so make sure to make a point of the time frame. I have heard he can thread bolt guns without taking the barrel off the reciever.
