Negotiating Rights Away: The NRA's History of Compromise

I found this Texas Gun Rights an interesting read as it goes way back when to 1930s and one of the initial compromises that led to the National Firearms Act of 1934. So besides their current financial troubles in court NRA doesn't have much to brag about on the political front to protect 2A.

Overall, the NRA has positioned itself as the most renowned gun lobby in the US. However, its track record mostly demonstrates its penchant for trying to occupy the national spotlight as opposed to passing clean pro-gun legislation and legitimately rolling back gun control. Grassroots gun rights activists have increasingly referred to the NRA’s acronym of standing for “Negotiating Rights Away,” rather than National Rifle Association.

Fudds "compromised" our Rights away for decades in return for political favors that only enriched themselves and not the People.

Thank God the old guard is losing ground to the younger...actually real pro 2A defenders that understand that "ANY" compromise is actually no compromise at all and just more Rights lost..............
