Yea, I got in on one as well. I heard through the grapevine that they also just purchased 100,000 cases of .223 which equals to another special on (100) 1000rd cases of .223 for a discounted price. Hoping that this will be there next special deal. Guess we'll have to find out.

    leftyonly, thanks for the link.

Did not get any 9mm, but saw some other good deals over there.

    <$2 each for 50 BMG ain't bad.
<$20 for a box of 10mm is pretty good also.

I've shot 1500+ of their 9mm Blaster (B grade reloads) without issue..everything has shipped promptly and seems to be of high quality...

I will buy from them as long as the prices are reasonable.

Their 9mm reloaded stuff has gotten too expensive with shipping to justify...

    in 1000 round qty:

    $179 + $30(shipping) = $209 or 21 cents a round for Grade B reloads from Freedom

    Vs.

    WWB at Wally world is $220 + $2(tax) = $222 or 23 cents a round New Ammo...

I'll take the new ammo, thanks....back in February, it was $155/k (17 cents/rd) for their Blaster stuff and I could justify it...

This $149/k for new stuff deal was too good to pass on......hope they do it again in about a month....

If it is in Houston and close to me then great.

Houston is a big place. If it ends up too far to drive to then it becomes Taxes+Shipping and that would likely kill the deal....

I heard the same too... Shipping is around $24 or so, so calculate that with about $4/gallon, bring it to 6/gallons of gas for shipping costs. I'd like to think, having a local storefront and driving would still equal less than having it shipped. That's be at least 120 miles of driving to meet the same costs for shipping, and that's going at 20/mpg. BUT, also with it being in Houston, we have to consider the 8.25% tax.

Sorry, I guess I was in a number crunching, calculating mood... lol
