I thought this was going to be a classified ad. Then I thought “damn, this guy must have just copy/pasted the marketing material”.

I think it would be a hard transition from a conventional bolt system to a straight pull back. Especially in a hunting situation if more than one shot is needed or for those like me who don't carry chambered. I dunno

I agree, for us older guys, it'd be tough not throw that bolt out of habit.

I will give Beretta credit- they don't shy away from innovation. The bolt lockup looks to be taken from th AR, so should be robust. They offer caliber change kits, but prices are same as new rifle.

Lot of cantilever on the scope rail. Effectively a straight pull side charger AR.

Beretta has made or imported some nice firearms but so many of them faded away.
The more I think about it, the more I realize there have been quite a few straight pull bolt rifles over the years. They've never caught on. So I think you're being prescient, here.

Feels like the Blaser patents expired. The Blaser platform is amazing for a number of reasons. Savage tried straight pull a few years ago, but it didn’t take. This looks more like an actual Blaser knock-off.

Straight pulls are almost always slower than a regular turn bolt + proper technique
