Nice to see someone waking up. Citizens strongly favor the reduction of gun controls.

There was a piece on this yesterday afternoon on NPR of all places.

A Brazilian national was posting about this on reddit. He basically said it’s not a good deal for Brazilians, just a short-term solution, because the presidential decrees come and go.

It’s not granting a right, it’s just granting permission that can change in a whim, and could make new gun-owning Brazilians future criminals when the decree changes.

Or ............... it could help solve the problem. There is obviously a big problem and I'm a believer that if there is a problem, do something, ............. right or wrong, because it will not fix itself.

I hope it works out and their murder rates go down. I also hope that their education systems become one of the best, then we'll have a model to point to.
