Probably would've gone smoother if you'd just dropped into some of the threads (either the ones about guns, or the off-topic ones) and started shooting the breeze with the rest of us. The one-word replies in months-old intro threads kind of set off a lot of warnings around here. We start a betting pool about what it is you're gonna immediately try to sell, and whether the way you hit the threshold will prevent it from happening (which it often does for one-day-wonder speedposters).
Anyway, if you're genuine, then welcome aboard. You'll find that we're a lot more than most message boards could ever hope to be. A lot of us have gotten to know each other offline.
