Hello gun enthusiasts! My name is Marc and I moved to East Texas 3 months ago from Branson, MO. I live between Pittsburg and Mt. Pleasant, and getting to know the area a little better each day. I enjoy target shooting with my family and are looking for somewhere fun and safe to practice, but not sure if I want to join a gun club because the ones I've seen are a bit of a drive, but not against the idea, by any means. If anyone has any suggestions, please share. I would like to join a nearby shooting group, if any exist, to meet good people, and share a common hobby, maybe a rimfire group, because I love to shoot my .22s, and they are sooo cheap on ammo. Looking for safe family fun, and to make new friends...

Thanks, everybody! Pops - I probably can't make it down to Longview Sunday, but to be honest, I go there about once a week, so I may join your area gun club yet. I was down there last weekend at the Gun Show buying a bunch of accessories for my new .22, and we probably passed each other. Thanks for the offer on Sunday, if I get my car tuned in time I'll try to make it down...
