For years I always had press on an easy on, easy off setup. Having only 1 work table, I decided to make a new metal stand that I can attach to my work table. I know I could make a dedicated reloading table and mount the press directly to it but, I don't have the room.
Since I had the metal, the project consisted of 12"x12" 1/4 metal plate and 1.5"x1" 1/8 brackets.
I cut the 12"x12" to size with the plasma cutter and made the outline of the press and drill the holes.
Making sure the cut pieces will fit before tack welding. I cut the angles with a metal saw.
I made a couple of tack weld with my GTAW machine.
Different picture angle.
Next step is finish the weld and prep for painting or powder coating. I will post more pics as I go along with this project. After this project is completed, I am going to make a stand for the load master and a the Dillon once I receive it.
