New Toy

Got me a new rifle today! It is a H&R single shot Buffalo Classic Carbine in 45 Long Colt. This goes with my single action six shooter in 45LC so I don't have to go out and buy any new ammo or reloading equipment.
It has a color case receiver and cresent butt plate, it also has buckhorn sights and a 20' barrel.
I just love those single shot rifles I already have one in 45-70 and 30-30.
I will try to get some pictures up tomorrow.
And by the way I got it from a dealer in Dobbin Texas, it is on highway 105 between Conroe and Navasota. The name of the shop is The Gunrunner and he does have a web site. Give him a vist and look around.

That aint nothing up the farm road from Dobbin(FM1486) in Richards there is a custom rifle gunsmith. His name is Randy Fite I think all he does is bolt action rifles though.

It shoots great! Bad thing is I went back to the same store and bought a double barrel 12gauge with hammers. It is one of the imported ones from China but it is well built. I will try to get some pictures up in the next few days.
