All ny fellow north Texans I'm sure you've heard the warning about weather today. Just wanted to gice a heads up to anyone that hasn't heard. We have the same weather setup that Moore Oklahoma had yesterday and between noon and 4pm we are supposed to get some pretty severe weather. Stay safe.

BUMP for AWARENESS

Just picked up the kids early from school. Luckily I'm not traveling this week.

I need to replace the old weather radio that broke, and my wife thinks I'm a slightly less crazy for wanting a bunker.

Picked up the kiddo from school early. All we've gotten here has been heavy rain, about 35 mph winds and lots of lightning. No hail, no rotation.

Not sure where to share this, so why not here?

My buddy put a post on FB last night. His daughter and SIL live in Moore. Son was at work. Daughter was in the bathtub with the kids when it hit. The house was destroyed. At one point the daughter was holding on to the granddaughter's hair to keep her from being sucked away by the twister. The house was gone, and only the mom, kids, and the bathtub they were hunkered down in, was all that was left.

Thank God none were seriously injured.

The first thing my said to me this morning was that we need to get a bunker for our property in the Dallas area. Works for me.
