We had a very poor turnout last Saturday at the Northwest Texas Field and Stream club's monthly Bullseye 2700, which is a shame since the weather was perfect.
For any of you Bullseye shooters out there, that are close, the next 2700 will be on May 24. Hope to see you there.
Should have said, it's Wichita Falls, which is not that far. But since you're in the DFW area, you can shoot at the Dallas Pistol Club, which is in Carrollton. There is a match this next Sunday; starts at 9:00. Come out and at least visit for a while and you'll get to meet everyone. The Dallas match usually has a petty good turnout. I'll be there.
Dallas always shoots the first Sunday of the month, except for July and January. Wichita Falls is the fourth Saturday of the month. Dallas has a Regional match May 31-June 1 and WF's is in September.
Directions for the Dallas club should be on the TSRA website under clubs. If not, send me a PM and I'll email you directions.
I don't check this site very often and just saw your post. You can download a copy of the NRA Conventional Pistol (Bullseye) regs at the NRA website at http://www.nra.org/. Click on the Competitions section and then go from there. For EIC pistol matches, you'll need to download the rule book at the CMP website; www.odcmp.com. There is a difference between a legal .45 or 9mm for Bullseye versus a Service Pistol for the EIC (Leg) match that the CMP runs at NRA Regional and State matches and at the Nationals at Camp Perry.
There's a 2700 Bullseye match on June 28 at Wichita Falls. First shot downrange at 9:00. Bring lots of water. Hope to see some new shooters there. If you only have a .22, come on out. You don't have to shoot the entire 2700.
