How does one go about replacing a cosmetically damaged fore-end on say a Browning O/U? Do you call Browning and ask if they still have stock, and if so do I need to send in the original to match it? BTW it's a Browning Citori White Lightning.

Never been in your shoes, but that's where I would start. If that proves futile, then I would call Brownells and ask the same.

If that does not work you could try asking a local gunsmith if they know were to get one. Maybe order it threw them so they get a little kickback on the deal.

Texsun, something just dawned on me. Try giving these guys a call... http://www.freergunshop.com/ I am not sure where you are located (they are in Houston), and I don't have any firsthand experience with them, but I've heard that they are experts with Browning shotgun repairs. Couldn't hurt...

Would my friend's phone number suffice? You can call him if you want.
