NRA Annual Meeting in May 2013 - Houston, TX

I know we are about a year out, but my dad was in St Louis this past weekend and had a blast. He said it is in Houston this coming year and plans to travel there (he is in Virginia). I think it is from 5/3 - 5/5/2013. As of right now, I plan to head out there and spend some time with him and at the show. Anyone else heard about it yet? Anyone else plan to go? He was told at this year's meet that the hotels in the area would probably be booked by mid to late June based on this years turnout.

There was a tremendous round of applause at the Conroe Friends of NRA dinner when the Houston meeting date was announced! My son and I went the last time it was in Houston and had a blast.

As for hotels, Houston is a very big place. The hotels downtown may book up, but there are lots of hotels in the rest of the area.

Sorry, I meant the hotels in close range walking distance. Maybe we need a TGT meetup there for dinner one night or something.
