Planning on attending an event at NRG Park soon. I know that stadiums are off limits. Technically since the Park is publicly owned I assume it is ok to conceal carry. I am sure this has been addressed somewhere on the forums. Did a search and came up with nothing. Even if a 30.06 is posted the Texas Attorney generals office says they can not post there...right???

NRG is what they call the astrodome complex in Houston. NRG purchased the name.

No signs. No checks. No scanners. No problem.

I'm sure some events will have different security scenarios but today they were not even checking purses. Today was a dinosaur exhibit for kids/families.

But definitely no 06 or 07 signage anywhere.

I was there as well. Didn't carry because I didn't know for sure and it was one heck of a walk to where we parked. Probably a good thing too, that place was a freaking MAD HOUSE! even the organizers said they were no where near prepared enough for the amount of people who showed up! We stayed about 3 hrs not including the 1.5 hrs we waited for tickets and the kids rode one ride. That ride cost us $180! (3 adults, two kids, and parking). I laughed when I saw the gun show entrance fee was cheaper than the price to park!! ($10 to get in, $12 to park!)
